The Rider Waite Tarot – Hidden path – All the world is a stage! June 18, 2007

After all these years i didnt think that i would find anything new in this deck, in fact i have to admit i was getting a bit bored with the rider waite deck and have not been using them for readings for quite sometime now, I only use them when teaching the beginners course. But today while i was working on some course notes, and looking at the 2 of cups, i noticed that the 2 people were stood on what looks like a stage or platform, the more i looked at it the more on stage they looked. so i quickly went through the whole deck to see if there was anymore, and found quite a few,
Page of cups, the 2 of swords, 5 of swords, 7 0f swords. 2 of pentacles, 4 of pentacles, 6 of pentacles, 4 of wands, 9 of wands, and 10 of wands. All have the same 2 lines that seperate it from the rest of the card, so the people in these cards look like they are stood on stage
.
What keeps going through my mind is why? why these cards and none of the others, Why the 2 of cups? and not the 3 of cups,
I will study these cards again to night, when i have more time.

We got alot of advise about new born pups, and one of the main things we were told was keep a check on his weight, birth weight should have doubled by the 8th day, Well take a look at the photo’s, What do you think? he huge! Remember the film “Digby the biggest dog in the world” Well meet Digby Jr ! The vet has given him the ok, and said he’s just a big boy!

Angels one and only pup day 4. and still the biggest question in our house is are we keeping him?? I hate to admit it, but iam getting very attached to this little guy,
Will we keep him then? Yes i think so! but sshhh dont tell the kids that,
On second thoughts will i still feel the same way in 10 weeks time when he’s running all over the house,chewing everything and then there’s the house training bit!!

No Monday morning blues for me, i was glad to get back to doing tarot, Angel and her pup were fast asleep in the bedroom, my husband John was puppy sitting. There was no tarot course starting today, but at the hotel there was 4 guests wanting readings so i headed off down there at 10 o’clock, Then spent the rest of the day working on course notes for a new course that starts in july.

Its now about 16hrs since Angel had her pup, her single one and only! Ive spent most of the day just sitting watching her wash him, nuzzle him, and sleeping. Its that ahhahh moment, Then it darned on me, I have a problem, If Angel had had 6 pups the norm for a jack that would have been fine, as i have (had) already homes for them, 4 or 3 would have been ok. but ONE!! One!! You don’t get attached to 6! 6 are a handful when they are 7,8 9 weeks old, your glad to see the back of them, 4 and 3 bye bye no problem, But ONE! How could she do that to me!! ONE gets attached to ONE. For the 9weeks of Angels pregnancy i have kept telling the kids that no we are not keeping any of her pups, we already have 2 dogs Angel and Alfie. looking at the photo aaahhh! its that aaahhh moment again.

This is not a good time to start a new blog,this evening my jack russell dog, Angel just went into labour, we are at stage one, panting restless, etc.. not sure how long this will last before first pup arrives, its going to be along night.. and this has nothing to do with tarot!! Oh well i’ll post again soon…
At 1.30 Angel had a beautiful pup, a boy, then we waited and waited and nothing, she feel a sleep, we took her and the one pup to the vets, she checked them both and then xrayed Angel to see if there may have been any more, but No was the result, so she has just one pup,
