AHHHH School holidays! July 25, 2007

Ok i give up! kids win, today has been impossible, I have only managed to finish one job that i started,  The day started of ok, I got an email tarot reading done that should have been done yesterday, but then the day went down hill from there, when the rain started! again!  and the kids said that they were bored, so out came the paints and the art and craft box, I thought that at least if they were painting then so could I, but no all i got was “mum can you do this or mum can you do that”

When finally this afternoon the sun came out, and so the kids and i were so fed up with being in doors that we put all the painting stuff away and went down onto the beach with the dogs,  this turned out to be very good as i took some photos of the beach and have now a few ideas for my tarot deck, with my Empress sun bathing and my hermit having a paddle.

and now i have to stop this post has number 2 son is shouting that he wants his dinner,  OH the joy of being a mother!!!

Neglected my blog! and the reason for this is, I’ve started creating my Tarot deck July 18, 2007

Its been a while since i added anything to this blog, so i better get it up and running again. Update on Angel and her pup, 6 weeks old, & he’s still huge, but know with teeth!! he’s into everything,  but he is still very cute so he gets away with everything  for now.

Tarot Update -Iam busy arranging  the new Tarot Courses as they are moving to a new hotel here in the not so sunny Blackpool!.

But the thing thats been taking up my time and keeping me from blogging, Is my Tarot deck that iam making, designing, creating, or however you want to put it. I finaly last month started to doodle a few idea’s, The big problem is that i have too many idea’s, I dont want a rider-waite clone or a thoth clone, but then i would like a bit of both in there somewhere,  Iam starting with the fool, and now have about 4 of them! I have a dreamy sort of angelic fool, to a loud bold in your face fool, then there’s my fool card with no fool on it, but his??? ooh thats a mysterious one,  I have always liked twists and turns,  You know like when your watching a film and the unexpected happens. The new vision tarot was a deck i could’t wait to get my hands on, just to see what was behind the Empress, and to find that pegasus was flying towards the guy sat under the tree in the four of cup was a surprise, So my deck may have a few twists, It also might have more than 78 cards, as ive been playing with the idea of extra courts, a page and a maiden, a knight and a lady, a prince and a princess and then the queen and king, might be a bit much that!!  Extra majors?? may be… Then there’s colours to think about, but thats another post.. might have to start a new blog just for my tarot deck creating..
